Karla Ruiz, a second-generation Pilates Master Trainer trained under the esteemed Lolita San Miguel, embodies a fusion of artistry and fitness expertise. Hailing from a background in Musical Theatre in Mexico City, she discovered her passion for movement early on, teaching dance classes to all ages.
Her journey into fitness took a notable turn when she encountered Pilates in 2001. Intrigued by its potential, she pursued certifications, weaving Pilates into her teaching repertoire. Moving to the United States in 2005, Karla immersing herself in Pilates literature and she excelled, garnering recognition at Golds Gym and Lifetime Fitness.
Karla's commitment to growth led her to diverse certifications, including NASM's Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, and Youth Exercise Specialist. She even blended Pilates and Fitness through Peak Pilates' FitCore program. Guided by mentors like Pamela Garcia and Zoey Trap, she honed her skills, creating impactful techniques that resonated with her students.
A pivotal moment arrived with the establishment of Jarana Pilates Studio, a testament to Karla's dedication. Here, she imparts her expertise in private, small group, and online classes. Karla's journey exemplifies the fusion of passion, perseverance, and skill, showcasing how Pilates transforms lives under her expert guidance.
